A well-drafted settlement agreement will allow for efficient resolution of a legal dispute with an employee

Experience / 10.06.2026

The Law Firm’s attorneys represented the Client in a legal dispute with a former employee. The dispute concerned the employee’s appeal against the termination of employment notice served on him.

The case ultimately concluded with the signing of a settlement agreement before a court-appointed mediator, which was subsequently approved by the court.

It is worth noting that the settlement agreement reached by the parties after several months of court proceedings was identical in content to the settlement agreement that had been negotiated by the parties—with the participation of the Law Firm’s lawyers—even before the case was filed in court.

Although, thanks to our experience and consistent approach, the case concluded with the signing of a settlement favorable to both parties to the dispute, this outcome could have been achieved many months earlier, before the parties officially entered into litigation.

This case demonstrates that the best results are achieved when both parties cooperate and work together toward an amicable resolution. The belief that more can be gained by taking a case to court is not always correct.

As our experience shows, it is often more advantageous to make certain concessions and resolve the matter more quickly than to drag out a dispute for many months, only to ultimately reach the same resolution that could have been achieved at the outset.
