As of September 19, 2020, new provisions of the Construction Law are in force. This amendment primarily simplifies the investment process, by establishing a catalog of investments that can be carried out on the basis of a permit, notification, and without formalities. The new regulations make it easier, among other things, to connect new investments to gas, heat or water supply networks. The time limit for declaring a construction permit invalid has also been reduced. In addition, the regulations have introduced a simple and free legalization procedure for self-constructed buildings.
