The Law Firm’s success in the case against GDDKiA (the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways)

We are pleased to announce that on October 30, the Regional Court in Rzeszow accepted in full the claim of the Law Firm’s Clients (the region’s leading company in the construction industry) against the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways in Warsaw for payment of remuneration for the work performed as part of the investment task entitled “Construction of the Ropczyce bypass in the course of the national road No. 4 (E40) Jędrzychowice – Korczowa from km 561+357 to km 565+454”.

The court ruling in this case fully agreed with the argumentation of the lawyers of our Law Firm as to the existence of joint and several liability of the investor (GDDKiA) for the obligations of the subcontractor (the Law Firm’s Client), as referred to in Article 647(1) of the Civil Code, despite the fact that this contractor did not have the written consent of GDDKiA to carry out the scope of work entrusted to it.
