Victory in dispute with General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDNRM) over payment for drilling on S-19

In a precedent-setting judgment of 19 May 2021. The Regional Court in Rzeszów has fully agreed with the argumentation of the Law Firm’s attorneys and advocates representing one of the leading geological companies in Poland in a dispute with the General Directorate of National Roads and Motorways Branch in Rzeszów regarding the legitimacy of demanding remuneration for category B (soil/rock) drillings performed in connection with the implementation of a public contract concerning drillings on the S-19 national road section, on the Rzeszów Południe – Babica section, which is part of the Via Carpatia.

The judgment opens the possibility for contractors to demand verification of the remuneration for the drilling scope performed.
